Develop.
Develop procedures in accordance with NC Medicaid standards and local policy.

Educate.
Educate the caregiver of children, the elderly and disabled adult community about waiver services.

Provide.
Provide help in obtaining medial documentation to monitor ongoing care needs.

Assess.
Assess participants initially and annually at minimum to determine ongoing appropriateness of services.

Ensure.
Ensure waiver and non-waiver services are accurately listed on the plan of care initially, annually and during a plan of care revision.

Monitor.
Provide regular and routine participant monitoring to assure health, safety and well-being, quality assurance reporting and participant risk mitigation.

Complete.
Complete critical incident reports within time frame allotted of the incident.

Maintain.
Maintain an advisory committee that supports the local program in developing and improving resources for a CAP/DA participant; and advocating for the CAP/DA program within the community.
